Anwar Darkazally is the Managing Partner of Field Intelligence, an intelligence and investigations firm. Anwar started life at Allen & Overy (now A&O Shearman) qualifying as a solicitor into the corporate department. Anwar then moved to work overseas – in Ramallah to support the Middle East Peace Process for four years during the second intifada; in Jerusalem; then as Chief Political in the Central African Republic during the start of the civil war; in Cairo immediately following the 2011 revolution; in Beirut following the start of the Syrian civil war and most recently as the United Nations Political Director in Libya for four years until 2020. Anwar then worked for a leading corporate intelligence firm as the Global Head of Investigations before co-founding Field Intelligence. Anwar is a fundraising patron of Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity.
